Testimonials

“I have known Adam Provost for over fifteen years in his capacity as a leader in educational technology and innovation. He is a very thoughtful leader with exceptional communication skills who would be a tremendous asset to any organization. Adam has significant experience designing and implementing systems change in education. Adam knows how to articulate a compelling vision for the future and how to inspire the necessary organizational operations to respond to that vision; he gets things done on behalf of all stakeholders and participants. He was very successful at building relationships with partner organizations such as the Tarrant Foundation, the Rowland Foundation, Champlain College, SNHU, and Marlboro College, and worldwide innovators allowing ‘VITA-Learn’ to grow into a vibrant statewide organization. He brings an elaborate network of professional connections in business, K-12, and Higher Education to his work. In short, I have no reservations whatsoever in giving Adam Provost my highest recommendation. He has strong leadership abilities, exemplary communication skills that together would make him a very successful leader in any organization fortunate enough to hire him.”

"I have known Adam Provost since 2015. I was the new Director of the Burlington Tech Center and he was a District Technology Integration Specialist. I quickly recognized what a tremendous asset Adam was to our team and he was in large part, responsible for the expansion of the Tech Center into new directions. His willingness to contribute as a partner with new ideas around program development and his skills a collaborator are what made the launch of the new Digital Media Lab, Pre-Tech makersapace a success and resulted in the expansion of our Health Science Academy. As changes were imminent at BTC with program development and relocation, Adam kept an eye on the plethora of possibilities. With his skill for school design and marketing, he was key in the design of an entire new look for the Tech Center. He was integral in the process of creating logos, images, color schemes, videos, websites and more. All of these efforts breathed fresh air into a stagnant Tech Center. He was able to connect the Tech Center with outside vendors, businesses and consultants with whom we built relationships. I regularly consulted Adam as a colleague, thinker and educator as we redesigned programs and the image of the Tech Center. He provided leadership with key marketing strategies and guided their implementation. The development of formal marketing and outreach plans, procedures, and systems supported our enrollment goals; we were able to increase enrollment by 25%."

"Adam has been a colleague and friend of mine since we first worked together in the South Burlington School District near the beginning of this century. I was principal of the Frederick H. Tuttle Middle School and Adam was in charge of the District Network Services for the school district. I was incredibly impressed with the quality of the technology network systems under Adam’s leadership. I’ve never been anywhere before or since that ran as seamless. He is a systems-thinking who knows how to look at a problem from the macro level while still managing to make sure the small details are addressed as well. Adam has a wealth of leadership and high level experiences that make him a sought after candidate in a variety of fields. At the Vermont Principals’ Association, we consider Adam an advocate for children and adults especially around areas of innovation, personalized learning, technology and creativity."

"Adam has a tremendous track record of innovation and building initiatives, including building enrollment through social media and marketing campaigns for the Burlington Tech Center and VITA-Learn’s statewide teacher professional development programs. Adam is deeply connected through multiple channels to Vermont schools, students, teachers, administration, and communities. Adam is hyper-connected on many levels in a robust professional learning community locally, in New England, across the Nation and even overseas. His vision and ability to define a mission, to rally people around it and implement these plans has paid huge dividends in Vermont. One of the challenges facing us in Vermont is the rapid transition of technology, and the impact on systems, communications, and education for students of today and tomorrow. In the two decades I have known Adam, he has been in the forefront, with a vision focused on where we need to be in the future, and developing programs to move us there."

"I have known Adam Provost both personally and professionally for over 20 years. Adam is a technician, a technology integrator, an innovator, a manager and a motivator for people that are afraid to change the way they do business. You can read all about that in his resume. What you can't read in a resume are the most important things, things that can't be taught or learned. He has a unique ability to figure out the needs of an organization and implement change to make those needs a reality. The amount of fun he has doing that work is contagious to the people around him."

"Adam, in addition to a demanding teaching load in the technology department, has been and enormous resource on all issues related to technology. He personally overhauled the school's entire website and managed it on a day-to-day basis. I recently appointed Adam to chair the school's Technology Committee where all decisions regarding technology are made. He leads discussions about leases, new issues on the horizon and further integration of technology into our classrooms. Adam is absolutely professional. He is revered by his students and by his colleagues alike, and his thirst for his own professional development is obvious to all."

"Adam is a passionate student-centered professional. He is an extremely deep and critical thinker, able to make connections among many different perspectives with ease. His understandings about constructivist learning is simply a part of "how" he teaches, which then allows his students - or any learner within his environment - to use their own experiences to expand their "new" learning and deep understandings and applications in the area of technology and instruction He is an innate collaborator and innovator, using his continually increasing knowledge and skills in technology integration and leadership with on behalf of the students with whom he works as well as any colleagues on his team. I would not hesitate to recommend Adam for a position where he can use his expertise and be part of a forward-thinking professional learning community."

I offer this one below, a recommendation from years past, from friend and colleague, Tim Comolli, now deceased. Tim was a Nationally decorated educator, a visionary, and kind beyond description. We had an incredible time working together and sharing stories about life and I miss him dearly. Tim's words here below describe the joy we had working together to build innovative programs for kids.

“Rarely, in my 40-year career in education did I find a person with Adam’s wit along with his ability to isolate an educational or technology problem and illuminate the possibilities for a solution. Seldom have I seen a teacher who had the breadth of subject area knowledge and the ability to work with people at any level of understanding. Adam is the face of technology education and innovation in my mind- for he, with his infectious personality has given rise to what an IT professional and educator in combination should be. Adam brings the mind of a highly skilled technologist, communications expert, artist, musician, researcher, and compassionate and talented educator to his work.”
